  1. New Fleece Colours

    We have added 2 new fleece colours to the design your own range - a lovely pale Lilac and Royal blue(medium blue).


    So now it will be even harder to make your choices!!

    Sorry for the shortage of ready made items in some categories(Tunnels,larger cozies etc...)I've been a bit busy with custom orders recently,but there should be some more added this week.

    Don't forget that you can always use the design your own option that's available on most of our items,I'm usually able to complete them quite quickly so there's not much difference in dispatch times between them and the ready mades.(Unless it's a large or unusual order!) 

    Finally - Don't forget to send us your photos of your little furry (or Spiny!) friends enjoying there new bedding if you'd like us too add them to our Photo section.

  2. Corner Houses

    So far our new corner houses have proved popular and have sold very shortly after they were made and added to the site.


    As they do take a while to make, we won't have many available at any one time - so if you have a request for a particular patterned combination please do let us know.

  4. Design your own Cozy,Hedgie Bag,Cuddle bed or Tunnel available now!!!!

    Today we have added a new option for you if you're looking for a Cavy cozy,Hedgie Bag,Cuddle bed or Tunnel.
    You can now choose the fabrics you want from the great selection we now have available and we will make you your own custom products. 

    We have a lovely mix of patterned cotton and fleece colours - but some only have very small quantities left - so get them while they last!

    Just to let you all know that,if everything goes as planned,Cavy couture should be re opening for business on Tuesday!!
    Everything that is currently showing on site will be available at that time.Be sure to check out our new range of Piggy themed gifts!

  9. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

    I'm sad to say that I am hanging up my sewing machine (metaphorically anyway), and handing Cavy Couture over to a new owner. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to keep up with demand, due to the increasing workload of my PHD.

    The new owner will be receiving all of the current stock, as well as detailed instructions and training in how to make each Cavy Couture item. Luckily she is already a dab hand on a sewing machine, and well aquainted with the small animal world, so it shouldn't take her too long to get the hang of it once I have handed over the keys to Cavy Couture! I hope she will receive the same loyalty from Cavy Couture's wonderful customers as I have!
    The changeover should take place inside of March, so do check back regularly to find out when it'll be open again!

    I'd like to say thankyou to all of my lovely customers, especially to those of you who have been visting for the entire three years, and I wish you long and happy lives with your furry companions.

  10. Low Stock Levels

    Some of you may have noticed the lowest ever shop levels in our shop since we began - fear not, we are currently working on more stock, but due to an ever increasing schedule, this is taking more time than we'd hoped!
    Please do come back again soon - we hope to have new stock up at the end of this weekend, and more again in the weeks to follow.
