Postage

How much does postage cost in the UK?
Postage costs between £1.40 and £10.00 within the UK, price is dependent upon weight of package and the type of postage you opt for.

Do you post outside of the UK?
We currently post to the worldwide, although shipping outside of the UK takes longer and costs etxra. Posting to destinations outside of the European Union means we must include a customs declaration, and as they may choose to check your package, we must warn you that shipping may take longer than within the EU. All customs charges are the responsibility of the customer, so please be aware of any which may be applicable in your country.

How long will it take to receive my purchase?
We post all premade items within one working day of receiving cleared payment. Witin the UK, we use Royal Mail first class standard and recorded, as well as special (next day) delivery, so most people receive their orders next working day. For purchases from Europe, we use Air Mail, which takes a reported approximate of five working days. Please note that we are not responsible for delivery times, and you should be aware of any Royal Mail strikes before ordering.

We always receive proof of postage, and are happy to insure expensive or custom items.

What if my delivery is returned to you?
All of our parcels are posted using Royal Mail first class (unless otherwise stated), and as such, will await collection at your local depot for three weeks (one week if recorded post is chosen) before being returned to sender. Any items returned to us will require additional payment of shipping costs before we mail it out again.

What if my items do not arrive?
We ask that you wait upto 15 working days for your items to be delivered, as specified by Royal Mail. At this time, if your items are still undelivered, we will arrange with you a refund or replacement (you pick), and retain compensation from Royal Mail to offset some of the costs.
We are happy to mail proof of postage to you during this 15 day wait.

Custom Orders

How do I make a custom order from Cavy Couture?
First check out our design your own items. If you cannot find what you are looking for, simply fill out the contact us form, with as much detail about your desired product as possible, including size, fabrics, and any pictures you may have. We will always reply within 24 hours, and often within 2 hours.

How long would it take to have a product made just for me?
Custom items are produced very quickly. If you order an item we already make, but in a different fabric/size, we will usually be ready to dispatch within three days. For orders where you've designed your own product from scratch, items may take up to seven days to be completed to your requirements. We are also happy to order fabrics online if you've found one you just have to have!

Do I have to pay before you start my custom order?
We require full payment of any custom orders before we begin your product, the same as making a standard design your own order.

Returns

What if I'm not happy with my purchase?
If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us to resolve your problem, with either an exchange or return for refund. Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase, with items in perfect unused condition. Due to the nature of custom orders, we do not make refunds for these items.

What if my purchase arrives damaged?
If your purchase arrives to you damaged in any way, please contact me to arrange a replacement or refund (including postage), as per your preference.

Product Care

How do I clean my purchase?
All our items are machine washable at 30°C unless otherwise stated in item descriptions. Tumble drying safe for most of our products - a few are not suiable for tumble drying, which is stated in the item descriptions.

Wholesale/Bulk Orders

Do you sell in bulk?
We are always happy to discss the production of bulk orders at discounted prices, for resale or personal use. Please note that production of such large orders will take us longer, but we are more than happy to provide an estimate of cost and time based on quantity of items required.
